<p>PURPOSE:To enhance heating efficiency by covering a self-control type heater wire disposed longitudinally or spirally at an aerial line or a pylon member with a long cover of semicircular section in close contact with an object to be heated on the outer periphery of the heater wire. CONSTITUTION:A self-control type heater wire 1 is covered with a cover 2 through a buffer 5, and attached to an electric wire A by a clamper 4. The wire 1 is spirally wound on the outer periphery of the wire A. The material of the cover 2 has high strength and light weight such as aluminum. The buffer 5 is buried in an excess space in the cover 2 with grease or heat resistant fiber, etc. The wire 1 may be linearly longitudinally disposed along the surface of the wire A. In this case, the installing positions of the wire 1 and the cover 2 are desirably on the surface of the wire A. A power source 3 is a current transformer mounted on the outer periphery of the wire A to supply power to the wire 1 by a current flowing to the wire.</p> |
