<p>PURPOSE:To stabilize output without sacrifice of the capacity of an exciting winding by detecting a load current and switching the set value of a voltage detecting circuit between the cases where thus detected load current is lower than a reference value and higher than the reference value. CONSTITUTION:A current detector C continuously detects the load current. When the load current exceeds a preset reference value, a current detecting circuit 5 outputs a set voltage switching command signal. A set voltage switching circuit 6 switches the set value of a voltage detecting circuit 2 to a second set value lower than a first set value. The second set value lower than the output voltage is sustained through the operation of the voltage detecting circuit 2 and an exciting current supply stop circuit 3 under this state. Consequently, the output does not increase in proportion to the load, and thereby the prime mover for the generator is prevented from entering into overload state. By such arrangement, a stabilized output can be obtained without sacrifice of the exciting capacity of an exciting winding A2.</p> |
