In plate heat exchangers for ventilation of residential spaces, swimming baths, public premises etc., which exchangers are used for incoming air and outgoing air, problems arise when the incoming air has a low temperature, the result of which is that a cold corner A occurs in the heat exchanger, the result of which is that the efficiency of the heat exchanger is lowered. This is to a great extent avoided by reducing the effect of the cold corner by introducing throttles 9 along a number of the ducts 3 for outgoing air, the throttles 9 being of the same order of size along one and the same duct but different in the different ducts 3, the duct 3 with the smallest throttles 9 being located closest to the inlet of the incoming air. The invention relates to a regulating arrangement for the quantity of incoming air, which arrangement contains a temperature-sensing member arranged in said corner A in an incoming-air duct. The regulating arrangement controls the quantity of incoming air so that the temperature in the cold corner does not fall below a predetermined level. <IMAGE> |
