<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the durability of bearings at an engine side and a transmission by dividing an input shaft into two sections for spline connection, and providing bearings between both input shafts for permitting a motion in a rotational direction but restricting a motion in an axial direction. CONSTITUTION:An input shaft is divided into an input shaft 2a for the spline connection of a clutch disc 3 and another input shaft 2b for the side of a transmission, and both of the input shafts 2a and 2b are connected to each other with a spline 2c. Furthermore, bearings 30a and 30b are provided respectively between the front and aft positions of a clutch cover 6 and the input shaft 2a for connecting the clutch disc 3. According to the aforesaid construction, the clutch cover 6 is subjected to a thrust force due to pressure oil PC2 filled in the space 17 thereof. This thrust force, however, is absorbed by the bearings 30a and 30b for interrupting the transmission thereof to a crankshaft 1 and the input shaft 2b for the side of the transmission.</p> |
