摘要 PURPOSE: To reduce force acting to a cage in the case of a large refraction by providing a groove center lines with a portion of narrow radius of curvature at a spherical center face side where each radial linear line faces each other, and a portion of wide radius of curvature at an opposite side thereto. CONSTITUTION: An outer joint body 1 is provided with a groove 7 while an inner joint body 2 is provided with a groove 8, a cage 13 is provided therebetween 1, 2, and a spherical body 9 is held in a gap in the cage 13. Center lines of the grooves 7, 8 have different radius of curvatures Re, Rw, a tangent line toward the center lines is have a control angleαat the center of the sphere Mk, and a vertical line toward a joint axis Ag keeps a radial linear lines OA, OB at a separate angle to the central face Ek of the sphere 9. The center lines of the grooves 7, 8 have a portion of narrow radius of curvature at the side of the face Ek where the lines face each other and a portion of wide radius of curvature at the side of the opposite spherical center face Ek. Accordingly, in the case of a large refraction, the control angle becomes small, resulting in decrease in an axial force to the cage.
