PURPOSE:To improve spectral reflection characteristics and to lessen environmental dependency and repetitive deterioration by incorporating the compd. expressed by specific formula into a polyester resin having <=5KOHmg/g acid value. CONSTITUTION:The polyester resin is formed by determining a reaction temp., reaction pressure, etc., according to the reactivity of monomers, by which the prescribed properties are obtd. This resin is formed to <=5KOHmg/g acid value for its nature to suppress the negative chargeability of the resin itself. The application of the resin to the toner having positive chargeability is thus pos sible. The spectral reflection characteristics are improved and the faithful repro duction of an original is possible if the compd. expressed by the formula is incorporated into the polyester resin. Further, the toner which is lessened in the environmental dependency and the deterioration by the repetitive continuous use is obtd. In the formula, one of substituents X, Y is a nitro group and the other is halogen atom or 1 to 5C alkoxy group. |
