PURPOSE:To attain the saving of energy by repeatedly turning on/off and intermittently imparting heat energy to a transfer image forming stage, and applying the heat energy to an image forming element which shows other color tones after a prescribed time lapses since the heat energy is imparted to an image forming element which shows one color tone among plural color tones. CONSTITUTION:A transfer image is formed in a transfer recording layer 1a and transferred onto body to be recorded (i.e., the image forming elements 31 of Y, M and C which are not hatched are transferred) by making a recording medium 1 to press-contact with the body to be recorded and heating them to a prescribed temperature. At this time, the heat energy is not only repeatedly turned on/off and intermittently imparted corresponding to the formation of the transfer recording image, but also intermittently impressed corresponding to the formation of the transfer image of a next color tone after a prescribed 'waiting time' corresponding to a period when the image forming element showing the one color tone substantially loses photo-thermo reactivity lapses since the heat energy is impressed corresponding to the formation of the transfer image of the one color tone. Thus, energy saving can be attained. |
