PURPOSE:To make the phase of optical signals sent in parallel coincident via an optical cable by providing a phase correction means correcting a propagation time of an optical signal due to difference from a refractive index while an optical signal of a component color video signal is sent in parallel. CONSTITUTION:Phase correction sections 4R, 4G, 4B are connected to optical cables 2R, 2G, 2B via optical connectors 3R, 3G, 3B. The phase correction sections 4R, 4G, 4B lead or lag the phase of an optical signal sent to an optical transmission line 1 due to a difference from a refractive index. A control signal to control the refractive index is fed respectively from a control circuit 5 to the phase correction sections 4R, 4G, 4B. Thus, the propagation time of the optical signal sent through the optical transmission line 1 is corrected depending on the difference from the refractive index of the phase correction sections 4R, 4G, 4B. As a result, phases of component color video signals fed to an image pickup signal processing section 23 are all made coincident. |
