PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for extracting tea ingredients and prevent irregularity in extraction so as to serve nice tea by providing inside the hot water container of a tea strainer portion stirring blades for stirring hot water, and a motor. CONSTITUTION:Stirring blades 20 to be driven by a motor 21 are disposed inside a hot water container 7. During the operation of a tea server, hot water heated by a heating portion 1 is fed into a tea strainer portion 6 and when the amount of hot water in the hot water container 7 reaches a predetermined value the motor 21 of the stirring blades 20 is started so that the stirring blades 20 start to rotate. When a predetermined period of time elapses after supply of hot water from the heating portion is started rotation of the stirring blades 20 is stopped and a solenoid valve 8 is opened and tea in the hot water container drops into a server pot 12 located below the valve 8 and is retained in the pot 12. Because hot water in the hot water container 7 is stirred during extraction of tea ingredients, the time required for extraction is shortened in comparison with when the hot water is not stirred, while preventing irregularity in extraction. Tea therefore tastes better. |
