The cell for treating products which are packed on pallets or in containers (1) is constituted by a box which is open to the front, equipped with a fan (7) on its rear face or bottom (4), and closed by lateral walls (3d, 3g) and, on the top, by a fixed ceiling (5). This cell comprises a structure for sealing around the pallet which comprises: two lateral joints (16d, 16g) in the form of an Omega, arranged vertically, and a ceiling (10) which is movable under the action of a shutter curtain (6) controlled by a rolling/unrolling device (11). The shutter (6) is guided vertically by the lateral joints (16d, 16g). Such a treatment cell is more particularly suitable for ventilation, heating or refrigeration of products stacked on pallets or arranged in containers of variable height. <IMAGE>
