PURPOSE:To minimize fluctuation of an average level of a sawtooth wave voltage against a frequency change by connecting a coil in parallel with a capacitor and in series with a switch circuit and setting a period being a reciprocal of a resonance frequency of a resonance circuit comprising a coil and the capacitor to be nearly twice the on-time of the switch circuit. CONSTITUTION:A coil 2 is provided in a path in which a discharge current iz flows in series with a switch 3 and in parallel with a capacitor 4. As a result, When the switch 3 is closed by a reset pulse, the coil 2 and the capacitor 4 cause the parallel resonance, a waveform for a reset period is just a half wavelength of a sinusoidal wave and the mean level for the reset period is set just in the middle between the maximum value and the minimum value of a sawtooth waveform. Thus, in order to generate a sawtooth wave voltage of various frequencies, even when the charging period is varied while the pulse width is made constant, the change in the mean level of the entire waveform is minimized. |
