<p>The shut-off or stop valve has a housing with two internal slide-plates each provided with an aperture. Slide-plates are movable in opposite direction w.r.t. each other. Valve has two-part housing (1a,1b) two slide plates (2,3) and two seats (4,5) in recesses in the housing. Top and bottom of housing have aperture (6,7) onto which inlet and outlet flange pipes (8,9) are conencted. Each slide plate has a square aperture (10,11). By moving the slide plates in synchronism in opposite direction a central aperture enlarges gradually, till apertures (10,11) are completely in register.</p> |
