<p>PURPOSE:To use the key input and the mouse input in common by confirming the operation of a designated key or the position input dependent upon a mouse with display data on a display screen to execute the processing function corresponding to a key code. CONSTITUTION:A device user preliminarily selects an arbitrary key on a key board 31 to assign an arbitrary processing function to this key. Data is regis tered in a function data file 10, a display data file 11, a coordinate data file, 12, and a graphic pattern data file 13 correspondingly to the key code of the selected key. Based on these preliminarily registered data, contents of processing functions and designating indications of keys to be operated for indication of execution of processing functions are displayed at the time of displaying input indication on the display screen of a display device 40, and display positions of display data are allowed to correspond to icons (pictorial symbols) for the use of a position input device like a mouse 32. Thus, a designated key is depressed or an icon is selected by the mouse as desired to indicate the execution of a required processing function.</p> |
