Window-frame wood preserving device - includes hollow dowels filled with fungicide

Dowels are filled e.g. with ammonium bi-fluoride to combat deterioration of e.g. window frame wooden joints. The dowels may be made of plastics or wood. The wood frame joint (1) includes e.g. two dowels (4). The joint connects an upright (2) with the bottom sill (3). Hollow dowels (4) are fitted with fungicide and have drilled recesses.
