Installation for the ventilation and emptying of a flat-bottomed silo having, in its central zone, a covered gallery into which emerge laterally the ventilation ducts which are equidistant from one another and disposed transversely on either side of the gallery and perpendicular to the latter, characterised in that each ventilation duct (5) is composed of a substantially cylindrical arch which can be stiffened by semi-circular corrugations (goffering) (6, 7) and having, in the wings (flanges) at the bottom part of these corrugations, perforations (8,9) of various shapes; the lower bases of these semi-circular ducts (5) being fixed in troughs (2) fixed to the horizontal bottom of the silo (1) in question in such a way as to constitute corridors for the flow of grain between the various semi-circular ducts (5), whilst the forced air coming from a supply unit passing under each duct (5) is directed by splayed walls (3) of the troughs (2) under the channels of the ducts towards the outlet perforations (8, 9) for this air in the troughs (2), thus pushing the grain towards the central gallery whose bottom comprises a grain conveyor which can be mechanical (screw, pneumatic or endless-belt type). <IMAGE>
