ANTIBODY, ANTIBODY-PRODUCING HYBRIDOMA AND USE OF ANTIBODY

NEW MATERIAL:An anti-TPA monoclonal antibody bonding to tissue plasminogen activator(TPA) competitively with plasminogen activator inhibitor(PAI) and not neutralizing the enzymatic activity of the TPA. USE:The bonding of the antibody to TPA for preventing the inactivation of the TPA with PAI gives an effective fibrinolytic agent slightly having adverse reactions. The agent can be utilized for an immunological measurement method for highly sensitively and specifically measuring TPA. PREPARATION:Antibody-producing cells such as splenic cells are first collected from an animal immunized with TPA and fused with myeloma cells. The objective antibody-producing cells are screened from the prepared hydridoma and cloned. The cloned cells are multiplied to produce the antibody.
