PURPOSE: To exactly package a foodstuff charged in a package by forming the package from a tubular melt-molded polymeric laminate having an outer layer of moisture-containing crystallized nylon and an inner moistureproof layer and crystallizing nylon under heating to moisten the same at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A nylon layer of a package comprises nylon having water absorbability of at least about 8% and capable of being crystallized by heating, for example, like nylon 4, 6 or 66. While a tube 12 of a generation period is lightly pulled from a die, a multilayered package is co-extruded into a tubular form through a usual die. The tube of the generation period is lightly pulled on a sizing mandrel 15 between cooling means 16 by nip rollers 14. The roll of the package is heat-treated under a temp. and time condition sufficient to crystallize the amorphous nylon layer in the package in the presence of humidity. This heat treatment is performed by immersing the filled roll in a hot water bath. |
