PURPOSE:To use a positive thermistor device both as an insecticidal solution evaporation type electric mosquito catcher and a mat type electric mosquito catcher, and also to improve the heat efficiency of the positive thermistor device by using as a heating portion the inner circumferential face of barrel portion of each of insulating cases. CONSTITUTION:In the assembly of a positive thermistor device A, a metal plate 23 has heating portions 5, each having its size approximately equal to that of the upper face of each of insulating cases 1, and each of the heating portions 5 covers the upper face of the insulating case 1 so as to be brought into close contact with the upper face of the insulating case 1. The insulating case 1 and each of insulating sheets 8 are united with each other by bending claw pieces 24 at four places extended from the heating portion 5 so as to be caulked onto the lower face of the insulating sheet 8 from the side face of the insulating case 1. And because the heating portion is directly heated by one of positive thermistor elements 4, the positive thermistor device A may have small unevenness in its surface temperature so as to make its heat efficiency better. Also the positive thermistor device A can be used not only for an insecticidal solution evaporation type electric mosquito catcher but also for a mat type electric mosquito catcher, thereby using it both as the two types. That is, it can be used for both types.
