PURPOSE:To obtain the title pumpkin preservable for a long period of time, not getting out of shape in cooking, having soft skin and high palatability by heating the whole pumpkin, cutting, sealing in a container, etc., and heat- treating. CONSTITUTION:The whole pumpkin is heated in such a degree as to soften skin part (preferably in hot water for 3-5 minutes), heated, cut, then sealed in a container or a packaging material and heat treated at >=90 deg.C preferably for 8-9 minutes to give the objective pumpkin. |
