<p>Scraps of paper and thermoplastic material are reduced to shreds. The shreds are introduced into a screw extruder for melting the thermoplastic material and prepared in the extruder for extrusion. The mixture of the molten plastic and the paper shreds is shaped continuously into the moulded article with the aid of an extrusion die connected to the screw extruder. In particular, scraps of plastic- coated packaging paper are used as a starting material.</p> |
