<p>PURPOSE:To prevent generation of impact noise due to a water hammer by lining an internal peripheral surface halfway a fluid pipe with a cushion material, mainly composed of silicon rubber or the like with high compression deforming ability, and absorbing an impact wave, when the water hammer is generated, by compression deformation of this cushion material. CONSTITUTION:An internal diameter of connection parts 5, 6 in both end parts of an elbow 4 is formed larger than the internal diameter of a pipe 1 by the required dimension, and a total area of internal peripheral surfaces of this elbow is lined with a cushion material 7 with its internal diameter D set almost equal to the internal diameter D' of the pipe 1 and total internal peripheral surface serving as a pressure receiving surface. In the cushion material 7, an elastic material (silicon rubber), having a gel state in which, for instance, polysiloxane is partly bridged, is used, and the material, which is not melted even when it is brought into contact with city water, is used. By this constitution, in the case of a violent compression change taking place in the pipe 1, an impact wave of the compression change is absorbed by the cushion material 7, with which the pipe inside is lined, by receiving the impact wave to deform the cushion material 7, and generation of impact noise due to a water hammer is suppressed.</p> |
