The housing (1) formed on the rear wall (3) of the cooking space (4) has a trapezoidal cross-section with max. dia. less than a quarter of the wavelength of the microwaves, from which it is shielded by a transparent screen (10). A filament lamp (7) is installed in a lampholder (6) at the back (5) of the reflector (11). The distance between any points of the filament (8) is less than a tenth of the wavelength of the microwave radiation. ADVANTAGE - Distribution of light within cooking space is improved with lamp protection from microwaves and prevention of leakage.
