PURPOSE:To quickly manufacture an air bag main body at a low cost by forming at least part of multiple base fabrics forming the air bag main body into a circular shape capable for automatic sewing by a machine. CONSTITUTION:Both side ends 3d2, 3d3 of a base fabric 3d1 formed into a fan shape of an air bag base section 3d are manually sewn beta to manufacture an air bag 3 for a passenger. The large-diameter side end 3d4 of the base section base fabric 3d1 and the inner periphery end of the circular hole 3C3 of the base section side base fabric 3C2 of a crew receiving section 3C are temporarily fixed, and they are sewn gamma. The large-diameter side end 3d4 and the inner periphery end of the circular hole 3C3 are circularly set, and they can be circularly sewn automatically by a machine. The crew side base fabric C1 of the crew receiving section 3C and the base section side base fabric 3C2 are sewn at their outer periphery ends. The outside ends are circularly set, and they can be circularly sewn automatically by the machine. |
