<p>Generally, because of a slight degree of slide occurring between grooves (20a, 20b) of the Oldham's coupling proper (14) and projections (16, 18) of revolving shafts (10, 12) during the revolution, both the grooves and projections wear to form play therebetween. Accurate transmission of revolutions is unobtainable in such a state and, to cope therewith, the Oldham's coupling proper (14) is formed of an elastic material at least at bottom parts (22a, 22b) and widths of the grooves (20a, 20b) are slightly smaller than those of the projections (16, 18). Thus, each of projections (16, 18) is resiliently clamped by side walls (24a or 24b) of each groove to prevent play from being formed therebetween even after worn. <IMAGE></p> |
