PURPOSE:To miniaturize a rotating body and to increase the number of copied sheets per unit time while the aligning accuracy of a toner image is maintained by starting scanning every generation time of a rotational position signal which is generated previously fixed times according to the back and forth moving time of a scanner in one scanning. CONSTITUTION:The rotating body 11 is rotated corresponding to the scanning in order to superpose the respective toner images. A rotational position detection means 56 generates the rotational position signal every time that the body 11 is rotated once. Besides, a scanning control means starts the forth movement of the scanner 50 based on the rotational position signal. Then, when the plural times of the scanning are executed for an identical original, the scanning is started every generation time of the rotational position signals which is generated previously fixed times according to the back and forth moving time of the scanner 50 in one scanning. Thus, the rotating body for superposing the toner images is miniaturized and the number of the copied sheets per unit time is increased while the aligning accuracy of the toner image is maintained. |
