PURPOSE:To easily obtain a microcapsule at low cost by incorporating a hydrolyzable metallic chelate compd. into the soln. of core substance difficult to be dissolved in water and dispersing this soln. of core substance into an aqueous medium contg. wall substance capable of reacting with the hydrolysate of the metallic chelate compd. CONSTITUTION:Both a hydrolyzable chelate compd. such as an aluminum-based chelate compd. and a titanium-based chelate compd. and substance difficult to be dissolved in water such as oils and liquid crystal are dispersed in an alcohol-based or ester-based medium. A capsule wall film is formed by reacting the substance with water or the hydrolysate of this metallic chelate compd. and making it a high molecule. Further wall substance such is hydroxyethyl cellulose is utilized which is dissolved in an aqueous medium or stably dispersed. when the soln. of core substance is introduced into the aqeous medium, the metallic chelate compd. is brought into contact with water and hydrolyzed. The functional group in the wall substance reacts therewith and the wall film of a high molecular capsule is formed. |
