<p>PURPOSE:To detect the buried direction of an underground buried object by providing three coils whose axial directions are in the horizontal place, providing two coils among them in the same direction, and providing the other one coil to become vertical to the two coils. CONSTITUTION:The device has three coils whose axial directions are in a horizontal plane, and two coils 1, 2 among them are provided in the same direction, and the other one coil 3 is provided so as to become vertical to the coils 1, 2. Detecting signals of the coils 2, 3 are amplified by amplifiers 7a, 7b, respectively. An output signal a1 of the coil 3 is brought to synchronous detection by an output signal b1 of the coil 2. As a result, whether a line of magnetic force is turned in the same positive direction as the advance direction or turned in the negative direction being reverse to the advance direction can be decided. An output signal a2 brought to synchronous detection by the synchronous detector 8, and the output signal b1 are calculated as to a2/b1 by a divider 9, respectively, and an output voltage being proportional to tan theta is obtained. It is converted to a voltage allowed to conform to a voltage converting part 10, and a buried direction display part 5 of a signal processing part 4 and displayed.</p> |
