PURPOSE:To improve running safety by providing a pair of the right and left double-shackle type leaf springs movable in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle via actuators, and moving the leaf springs in the direction to extend the wheel base when a rear wheel steering system fails. CONSTITUTION:A pair of shackle members 26R, 26L; 28R, 28L are fitted at front and rear two positions on both the right and left sides of the rear of a vehicle body frame 22 with their upper end sections supported rotatably. Rear end sections of a pair of the right and left leaf springs 30 (30R, 30L) are fitted at the lower end sections of the shackle members 26R, 26L, and the front end sections of the leaf springs 30 are fitted at the middle sections of the shackle members 28R, 28L. Hydraulic cylinders 38R, 38L are connected to the lower end sections of the shackle members 28R, 28L. The leaf springs 30 can be freely moved in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body. The leaf springs 30 are moved in the direction to extend the wheel base when a rear steering system fails, and running safety is secured. |
