The centrifugal fertiliser spreader has driven rotary scatter discs with impeller blades below the feed hopper. Interchangeable blades (77) are provided for at least one disc (6) to give a steeply-falling scatter pattern in place of the flat one provided by the blades normally used. The blades are secured to the disc by a quick-acting lock for simple exchange. Pref. the blades are mounted at a swivel angle.
