PURPOSE: To disinfect the water in use in a sterile conduction within the oral cavity of a patient by connecting an ozone generator with one or more water vessels, putting the water outlet in such a condition that its ozone content is zero or near it, and controlling the ozone content in the water vessel(s) and a therapeutical apparatus or in a conduit leading to a therapeutical appliance. CONSTITUTION: Ozone is one of the strongest oxidators which are available, and kills virus, bacteria, etc., and exerts a spore eradication effect. From an ozone generator unit 1, a reaction gas is led to a controlling mechanism 5 via a conduit 4 and supplied to a water vessel 7 or 9, when the requisite ozone concentration is dependent upon the system, ranging from 5 to 15mg O3 /1lH2 O. From the water vessels 7 and 9, the ozonized water is supplied to a water guide part of therapeutical apparatus 14 or 15 on the side of dentist through an ozone-water distribution mechanism 12 and also supplied to therapeutical appliances 17, 18, etc., on the side of a dental assistant. The ozone concentration immediately before the water outlet is measured by a sensor 24, and a control unit 26 actuates the ozone generator unit 1 and operates the controlling mechanism 5 so that the ozone content is nullified. |
