The button is formed of one piece (8), which remains fixed to the garment, and another piece (1), which replaces the button. The fixed piece has a circular base, which is held on the back surface of the fabric. A rod (4) is fixed to the base and has a wider threaded part (6) and a pointed end (5). The piece replacing the button has a projection (2) on its lower surface. This has a central hole in which an inner sleeve (3) is fixed. This has a threaded hole in which the rod of the fixed piece is screwed.
