The double pump consists of a radial piston pump (1) and a sliding vane pump (2) with the rotors of both pumps being mounted on a common shaft (6). The radial pump (1) has a cylinder ring (8) which is fitted in a recess in the housing (4) which is fitted with an end cover (5) which is secured by screws (25). The dimensions of the cover (5), the depth of the recess (17) in the housing (5), and the axial width of the cylinder ring (8) are such that the cylinder ring has a small amount of axial play. The cylinder ring (8) is secured in the housing (4) by a pin (24) and a sealing ring (30) with a backing ring (31) are fitted in the floor of the recess (17) in the housing (4). USE - Double pump.
