<p>PURPOSE:To display a sufficient seal effect by fitting a pipe connection part between a joint main unit, in which a seal member is inserted into a seal groove, and a sleeve fitted to the outside of the joint main unit, and forming a protrusion protruded to the inner, in a part where a diameter of the sleeve is contracted. CONSTITUTION:A joint seal part 11a, in which a seal member 13 is inserted, is provided in a joint main unit 11. A cavity S for fitting a pipe connection part 12 is formed between a sleeve 14 and the joint seal part 11a, in its outside. By deforming the sleeve 14 so as to contract its diameter by pressing a forming position of a groove 14a in a condition that the pipe connection part 12 is inserted to the cavity S, the seal member 13 is pressed to perform a seal. A protrusion 14b is provided in an internal surface of the groove 14a of the sleeve 14. As a result, at the time of deformation of the sleeve, the protrusion bites in, and high seal performance can be displayed.</p> |
