<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a waste processing device capable of processing waste water efficiently in accordance with water quality and water volume and at low cost by providing a movable wall which moves forward and backward in a laterally long pond and constituting the front partitioned by the movable wall as an aeration tank and the rear as a sedimentation separation tank. CONSTITUTION:A mixing pond 10 is formed laterally long and is partitioned laterally by a movable wall 11 as an aeration tank 3 which is an area before the moval wall 11 and as a sedimentation separation tank 4 which is an area after the movable wall 11. If the waste water shows a significant BOD load or a high water volume load, the BOD load of an organism by microbes is reduced by moving the movable wall 11 to a rear position and thereby extending a waste water flow distance, that is, a flow time. Contrarily, if the BOD load is low, or the water volume load is less significant, the waste water flow distance in the aeration tank 3 is shortened by moving the movable wall 11 forward.</p> |
