PURPOSE:To automatize the normal/defective judgement of a test picture by differentiating the edge parts of two kinds of pictures, forming respective differentiation pictures and arithmetic processing two kinds of the differentiation pictures so as to form a picture equivalent to the difference of two kinds of the pictures. CONSTITUTION:A master picture constituting a reference picture is previously stored in the memory of a picture processor 12, and the test picture to be inspected is read from a TV camera 11 on the other hand. Two kinds of the pictures are differentiation-processed for taking out the edge parts of the pictures and they turn into the differentiation pictures. Then, two kinds of the differentiation pictures are subtracted and a subtraction pictures is formed. At the same time, two kinds of the differentiation pictures are added and an addition picture is formed. Furthermore, an operation picture is formed by arithmetic-processing the subtraction picture and the addition picture and synthesizing them. Thus, the normal/defective inspection of display by printing can completely be automatized. |
