<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a vehicle from its side drift, even when the direction of a cord of an outer side belt reinforced layer is tilted in an opposite direction to lug grooves for partitioning blocks in reference to the peripheral direction of a tire, by applying chamfering to an edge on at least tread-in side in the block. CONSTITUTION:A block pattern, consisting of many blocks 2, is formed on the surface of a tread 1. The block 2 is partitioned in a plurality of main grooves 3 along a tire peripheral direction E-E' and many lug grooves 4 tilted at a predetermined angle theta formed in relation to the tire peripheral direction E-E'. Furthermore, a belt reinforced layer 5 is arranged inside the tread 1 and also the cord 52 of an outer side belt layer 5b is tilted in an opposite direction to the lug groove 4 in relation to the tire peripheral direction E-E'. In such a structure as stated above, chamfering 21 is applied to front and rear edges of each block 2 respectively in the tire peripheral direction E-E'.</p> |
