The gist of the solution is the automatic shut-down of the fluid reactor (1) into a warm reserve by stopping the electromotor of the air fan (5) and by subsequent stopping of the electric motor drive of fuel feeders (7), which feed fuel into the fluid layer (2). This measure prevents the fluid layer (2) from clinkering as a result of the sudden rise of temperature, which is caused by interruption of fuel feeding into the fluid layer (2). The solution can be used with fluid double-stage furnaces, preferably in combustion of ranks of coal high in ash with the content of adhesive components.<IMAGE>
