PURPOSE:To increase an image density and to obviate the generation of ground fogging and offsetting by incorporating specific polyester and specific zinc complex into the toner. CONSTITUTION:This toner is formed by incorporating 100 pts. wt. polyester obtd. by condensation polymn. of at least a component (A) and an acid component (B), 0.1 to 5 pts. wt. zinc complex of (substd.) arom. oxycarboxylic acid, and 1 to 20 pts. wt. coloring agent into the toner. The compd. of formula I is used for the component A and a mixture composed of bivalent carboxylic acid (lower alkyl ester) having 3 to 22C aliphat. hydrocarbon group in the side chain and trivalent carboxylic acid (anhydride) of 10 to 50mol% of the entire part of the acid component is used for the component B. In the formula, R denotes ethylene or propylene; x, y denote integers. The compd. of formula II, etc., are usable for the zinc complex. |
