<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently input words by converting a word input partially using a general character into a character string obtained by retrieving the general character in the word by a word dictionary retrieving means to input an European word. CONSTITUTION:The word inputting system is provided with a word dictionary for an objective European sentence and the word dictionary retrieving means for retrieving the word dictionary and a word input partially using a general character is converted into a character string obtained by retrieving the general character in the word by the retrieving means to input the European word. Since the general character is partially used in the European word without expressing all the spelling of the European word by the general characters, the European word can be inputted even if an abbreviated input is used or a word whose spelling is not surely stored is inputted. Consequently, word input can be efficiently executed.</p> |
