PURPOSE:To obtain an elastic cloth having the surface covered with fine loops of fine denier fibers subjected to water-repelling processing, showing water-vapor permeability and water repellency, comprising elastic yarn of a polyether polyester block copolymer having specific hot water resistance and specific fine denier yarn. CONSTITUTION:Elastic yarn comprising a polyether polyester block copolymer consisting of polybutylene terephthalate as a hard segment and a polyoxybutylene glycol-based polyester as a soft segment and having <=20% strength reduction ratio by hot water treatment at 140 deg.C and yarn of fine denier having <=1.2 fineness of single yarn are used to form cloth. Then the cloth is relaxed, fine loops having 5-300mu length of the yarn of fine denier are formed on the surface and the cloth is subjected to water repelling processing. |
