PURPOSE: To crimp a closing member to the rim mouth of a container by resisting the lifting of the closing member with a first mode of a cylinder unit which is operationally connected to an upper cylinder and lowering the lifting closing member with a second mode. CONSTITUTION: A product is filled in a container 75 feeding to a crimper head 5, a closing cap assembly is set on the container 75, and a vacuum is applied. Next, an upper cylinder head 10 and related parts are lowered with an operating rod after a vacuum process, the closing member 74 is seated on the container 75, and crimping is prepared. Next, a pressurized fluid is introduced into a cylinder unit 22, and a preloading force is exerted on the apex of the closing member 74 of the lower end 61A of a stop sleeve 61. And a holding pressure of a required value is exerted, a piston 48 is pushed down, and the closing member 74 is crimped to a rim mouth 76. |
