PURPOSE:To eliminate a wasteful operation time and to attain covering with required minimum sheets by providing a holding function selecting means and a front cover sheet selecting means for selecting a front cover sheet of a size corresponding to an original size or the half. CONSTITUTION:An operator can select a covering function or the folding function by using a function selecting means such as keys on an operation panel 61, and also whether or not an image is formed on a front cover sheet. When the operation is started while a rear covering function and the folding function are selected, a rear cover sheet of a size corresponding to its original size or the half is selected and ejected. In a mode where a front covering function and the folding function is selected and an image is formed on the front cover sheet, the front cover sheet of a size corresponding to its original size is selected and the image is formed on this front sheet, which is folding-processed and ejected afterward. Thus, the waste of covering sheet is eliminated and the operation time can be shortened. |
