RUBBER RINGS MAKING DEVICE FOR ELASTIC TRACTIONS

This invention describes a device for making rubber rings for elastic tractions used by dental offices in the orthodontics area. The device for making rubber rings for elastic traction is made up of a metal base plate, equipped with three support buffers ; on the base plate there are two welded columns that have on their upper part some trapezoidal guiding channels. The plate is also equipped with a central pivoting area that guides the rotation of a pivoting plate, which has a handle and a circular collar cooperating with the central positioning area of the base plate. In the columns' guiding channel some trapezoidal headed sliding screws support a beam sustained by the two columns with some rosettes; on the beam there are two cams on which is attached a lever, the cam being connected to a lid fitted at the upper part of some pins. Attached to the lid there is a bolt for bringing the pins in the initial position; on the bolt, supported on the beam, there is a return spring; for the extraction of the elastic tractions there is a ring with grooves in which are introduced some pushing rods attached by some threaded areas to a ring-shaped extracting runner. On the pushing rods are attached some stopping disks and between them and the ring there are some helicoid return springs.
