PURPOSE:To obtain ferrite requiring sufficiently reduced power loss even in a frequency range of several hundred kHz or more, by compounding and adding and containing specific quantities of Fe2O3, MnO and ZnO as main components and CaO, Ta2O5 and SiO2 as additional components respectively. CONSTITUTION:Fe2O3, MnO and ZnO as main components and 300-1500ppm CaO, 200-1500ppm Ta2O5 and 150-500ppm SiO2 as additional components are compounded and added and contained. A raw material using Fe2O3 (53.5mol%), MnO (37.5mol%) and ZnO (9.0mol%) as main components is calcined at 900 deg.C, and CaCO3 of 750ppm (420ppm on conversion into CaO), Ta2O5 of 500ppm and SiO2 of 350ppm as additional components are compounded and added and crushed for twelve hr by a ball mill. The crushed raw material is dried, a 1.1wt.% binder is added, the raw material is granulated and molded, and the molded form is baked for five hr at a baking temperature of 1150 deg.C. |
