PURPOSE:To contrive to simplify a mechanism to take off the rotation necessary for rear wheel steering from a front wheel steering system by a structure wherein an offset arm is formed integrally with the pivoting member of the front wheel steering system. CONSTITUTION:An offset arm 22 is formed integrally with the pitman arm 4 of front wheel steering system. When a steering wheel 1 is operated for steering, the horizontal rocking of the pitman arm 4 in the direction of rightward and leftward results the rotation of the offset arm 22, which forms the other leg of a plane L-figure integrally with the pitman arm 4, so as to rock itself back and forth in the same horizontal direction as the movement of the pitman arm 4. The rotation taken off from the front wheel steering system causes to put a crank pin 51 into a crank motion. Because of the crank motion of the crank pin 51, the rear wheels 16 are controlled in the predetermined steering angle function, resulting in steering the rear wheels 16 in the direction opposite to or same as the direction of the front wheels 12 in accordance with the magnitude of the steering angle operation.
|
