发明名称 THERMALLY TRANSFERABLE RECORDING MEDIUM
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a printed image of high resolution even on paper of low smoothness with superior thermal transferability by providing a peeling-off layer consisting mainly of a specific compound on a support, then laying an ink layer of a specific component on the peeling-off layer and further laying a fixative improver layer composed mainly of specific glass transition point resin in that order. CONSTITUTION:A peeling-off layer 2 consisting mainly of at least, one type of compound selected from among compounds shown by formulae I to III and a compound having gelation function is provided on a support 1. Then an ink layer 3 composed mainly of a coloring agent and a copolymer (ethylene content: 70 to 90weight%) of ethylene, ethylacrylate or vinyl acetate with a melt index of 800 to 3000g/10min is provided on the peeling-off layer 2. In addition, a fixative improver layer consisting mainly of resin having a glass transition point of more than 100 deg.C is laminated on the ink layer 3. In the formulae, I, II, R1 and R2 are an alkyl group with 12 to 32 carbons; R3 is hydrogen or a methyl group. In the formula III, R is a 13 to 41C straight chain acid, iso/acid, antiiso/ acid and/or residual group of oxy/acid. Thus a printed image of high thermal transferability and high resolution is obtained.
