PURPOSE:To sufficiently ensure the joint strength between a hollow pipe and both end shafts by integrally molding and then fitting metallic sleeves on both ends of a hollow pipe formed with fiber reinforced composite resin, and fixing a metallic rotating shaft on the metallic sleeves. CONSTITUTION:The joint between a fiber reinforced composite resin hollow pipe 2 and metallic sleeves 4 is made at such strength that the both end inner peripheries of the fiber reinforced composite resin hollow pipe 2 come tightly into recessed and projected parts such as knurled work formed on the outer peripheries of the metallic sleeves, thereby being durable even in a larger rotating torque. The fiber reinforced composite resin hollow pipe 2 is formed integrally in a shape of covering the outer periphery of the both ended metallic sleeves 4 in use of resin infiltrated fibers by a filament winding method or a sheet winding method by the use of prepreg. The shaft parts 6 fixed on the inner peripheries of the metallic sleeves 4 are formed integrally on flanges 6a and flanges 6a to be integrally fixed, for example, by pressure- insertion, and have rotation shafts 6b being rotatably supported, for example, by shafts 8. These shafts 6 are formed of a light weight metallic material, for example, aluminum or the like. |
