PURPOSE:To suppress vibration and noise through a simple structure by providing control means for individually controlling the exciting torque of each exciting coil. CONSTITUTION:A brushless motor drive comprises two motor drive circuits 10A, 10B and two pulse width control(PWA) signal generators 9A, 9B. A control circuit 7 provides PWM command signals 14A, 14B individually to respective PWM signal generators 9A, 9B. PWM signals 17A, 17B for speed regulation, controlled through the control circuit 7, are operated so that a motor 1 produces torque having suppressed ripple. Consequently, torque of the motor 1 varies in proportion to the currents flowing through coils 45A, 45B. |
