The user is wholly or partly protected by the suit in which a number of sensors are connected to power supply, communication and processing units. The spatial position of the wearer is monitored continuously, and commands are issued to inflating devices, control valves and a temp. regulator. Limits to the signals from the sensors are set in relation to personal identification data such as body wt. and blood pressure. Data may be transmitted e.g. to search-and-rescue receivers. USE - By e.g. jet pilots, mariners, motor-cyclists and ski-jumpers.
