The hydro-pneumatic spring has a variable volume spring chamber filled with a compressible medium which forms part of a piston-cylinder assembly. The cylinder of this unit is divided into two chambers (28,30) of variable volume. These two chambers (28,30) are hydraulically separate from each other and each chamber is connected with at least two additional hydraulically separate pressure chambers (42,44). These pressure chambers are of variable volume with the volume of one changing in the opposite direction to the change of volume in the other. Two hydraulic circuits (A,B) are thus formed, each having a cylinder chamber and a pressure chamber. USE - Hydro-pneumatic springs.
